Dear Parent,
Public schools have many priorities and responsibilities. None are greater than insuring the safety of students. It is necessary that school districts remain extremely vigilant and exercise all safety measures, some of which may be inconvenient.
ASISD bus drivers will only deliver students to their official bus stops. The District can NOT accept phone calls, texts or emails requesting that students be delivered to other places. If you wish your child’s normal bus routine to be altered in any way, the District must receive written notice, from the student’s legal parent/guardian, in order to change bus stops. Please know that the school will make every effort to call and verify the authenticity of any such request. Sadly, the school has been victimized in the past by some people who did not have legal authority to make such requests.
We hope that you will understand the very difficult position of the school in these matters and support us as we take every precaution to maintain the health and safety of all of our students.
Thank you and God Bless,
Cody Moree
