Apple Springs ISD is committed to the health, safety and welfare of all students and faculty members. We will begin the 2021-2022 school year with the safety protocols used at the conclusion of the last school year.
Temperature checks will be administered to all staff and students prior to entering the building each morning.
Anyone with a temperature above 100.0F will be sent home immediately.
Students will be escorted to and from personal vehicles. Parents/guardians are asked to remain in the car. Parents of elementary students may accompany their children to the cafeteria in the mornings.
Parents and others wishing to visit the campus will be permitted to do so by appointment only. Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
Disinfecting humidifiers will operate in classrooms during school hours.
The District has installed non-touch restroom fixtures and drinking fountains to provide for greater risk mitigation.
Wearing approved face coverings is optional and left to the discretion of each individual or family.
Apple Springs ISD will respond accordingly to any future legal mandates which may be issued by authorized entities such as the ASISD Board of Trustees, local and state and federal officials, the Texas Education Agency and the University Interscholastic League.
Specific questions concerning student health issues should be addressed to
