Houston County Electrical Co-op makes Donation to Apple Springs ISD

Apple Springs ISD would like to express its sincere appreciation to Kathi Calvert, David Hildebrand and other staff members of the Houston County Electrical Co-operative for the recent donation of iPads to the district.  On Tuesday, February 18, representatives from the HCEC were on campus to present the school district with 31 iPads.  This is the second such donation that the Co-Op has made to ASISD in recent years.

Superintendent of Schools Cody Moree stated “Technology is such a priority for ASISD.  We strive to make sure that each and every student has access to a personal computing devise at all times.  iPads are especially important to our primary grades.  iPads are so tactile and our very young students are able to manipulate them which increases learning exponentially.  I am so grateful to Houston County Electric for their generosity to our kids.”
